Crossing Delancey is a challenge. Seriously. It must be the shortest timed traffic light in all of Gotham. There is virtually no time to make it across at a normal walking pace. From white walk to red stop is approximately 24 seconds. Be in the street before the blinking hand or you won’t make it across. Unless you want to run. Otherwise, prepare to stand in the median with oncoming cars zipping past. Think Frogger.
Crossing times do increase ever so slightly on the weekends, likely the result of constant tourism and numerous day shoppers.
A countdown timer would certainly help our collective situation [AMNY]
