Fox is reporting that there was a fatal hit-and-run today at Bowery and Grand [MyFox NY].
A hit-and-run truck driver fatally struck a pedestrian Friday afternoon at Bowery and Grand Street, police said. Streets near the scene were shut down. The driver of the 18-wheeler fled over the Manhattan Bridge, officers said.
Traffic must have been a nightmare.
