The LES is renown for its pickles, bialys, and knishes, not its pizza. Case in point, dive eatery Rocket Joe’s at 61 Delancey. While their pizza isn’t delicious by any stretch of the word, their slices are definitely an affordable alternative after a long night of boozing. And what totally clinches the experience is the old-school neon sign and minuscule hole-in-the-wall interior.

The woman’s boutique Don the Verb is seemingly out of place on this still-seedy stretch of Delancey between Allen and Eldridge.
