Central Park Snow Day
Sledding in Central Park on Monday evening was a sight to behold. City folk of all ages participated, many using last-minute makeshift sleds. Indeed, people brought everything from plastic lids and cafeteria trays, to garbage bags and three-ring binders. Anything to slide down the hill at a maximum speed. Anticipating the snow day, the Parks Department maintained a level of safety by depositing plenty of hay stacks at all the lamp posts.
