Down and Out
Walking along West Third Street, it’s fairly obvious that the dismantling of the Catholic Center at NYU is proceeding rather quickly. In just a few short weeks, the rear of the building has been reduced to a glorified pile of brick and twisted metal. And as demolition crews continue to wield their heavy machinery, the noise emanating from the site is steadily worsening. Steer clear.
It will be strange to see such a large footprint once this structure is erased from the block.
