Essex Ales in Hot Water
One of my favorite watering holes is now out of commission. That’s right, last Friday Essex Ale House was felled by the Department of Health. It appears the bar was “operating without a permit.” Nevertheless, we can only hope that the closure is temporary, as it’s the cheapest spot for great Belgian brew.
