AT&T Wireless to Open at 162 Allen

Another cell outpost is about to open at 162 Allen Street, the former home of quirky antique shop Funtiques (the old signage is still in place). Folks, behold the presence of AT&T Wireless and its seemingly bare-bones outpost. Indeed, a peek inside reveals naught but two basic chairs and a folding desk in a room bathed in orange. It looks to be a temporary venture, but no personnel was on hand to satiate our curiosity. One thing is for sure, though; the neighborhood cell phone wars are escalating.
