GPS in Cabs?

In a gridiron street system such as Manhattan, it’s quite hard to imagine a cabbie needing a GPS system. In fact, it doesn’t instill much faith in the driver’s navigational abilities. Well, sure enough, we hopped in a cab last week on Delancey which was pimped out with the third-party dashboard technology. Something about GPS in cabs still seems like sacrilege.
