Lower East Side Scarecrow

‘Tis the temperate season of Autumn, but there’s not much to harvest on the streets of the Lower East Side except trash and gagworthy scents. After all, the Delancey Apple Orchard of the 1700s is long gone. And there’s definitely no corn mazes or pumpkin patches to speak of. However, there is this rather portly, headless scarecrow staked in the M’Finda Kalunga Garden in Sara D. Roosevelt Park.
Lest we forget that other scarecrow without a head!
