Malfunctioning Walk Signals
Malfunctioning walk signals are growing ever more common on the Lower East Side. At random neighborhood intersections, both stick figure and hand of doom illuminate while the pedestrian has the red light to cross. In all, Grand Street seems to win the contest for most consecutive signal issues, with three between Eldridge and Orchard.
