Wall Street 2 Filming in Tommy Guns Salon on Ludlow

The big-budget followup to the eighties classic Wall Street, Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps (clever), is filming scenes inside the uber-trendy Tommy Guns Salon today. Last night, a bare-bones crew was busy setting up the interior for the shoot, all while barbers went about their business. The production will be parked on Ludlow and Rivington from now until 3 am tomorrow morning. Perhaps this will be a scene where Mr. Gekko gets trimmed? A $75 cut would definitely be in his budget…
UPDATE 8:55 am: The area is on lockdown as Michael Douglas is in a barber chair for the scene. Good luck passing through.
UPDATE 3:22 pm: We were told that Ludlow was briefly transformed into London for the scene. Street signs confirm.

Here’s a quick synopsis of the story:
As the global economy teeters on the brink of disaster, a young Wall Street trader partners with disgraced former Wall Street corporate raider Gordon Gekko on a two-tiered mission: To alert the financial community to the coming doom, and to find out who was responsible for the death of the young trader’s mentor.
