Restoration for 64 Delancey
Early last month, the dreaded combination of scaffolding and netting was attached to the four-story 64 Delancey, located at the northwest corner of Allen Street. Luckily, however, this stout building is being restored, not demolished. Just a little nip/tuck, as it were.

According to DOB permits filed on January 2, plans call for a two-pronged beautification – both a “facade restoration and roof replacement.” Most days, mason crews park their vans curbside, and can be seen unloading bricks for the new exterior.
