Sperone Westwater Gallery Reveals Hulking Concrete Skeleton
Yesterday morning, a large section of netting was removed from the future Sperone Westwater Gallery at 257 Bowery, revealing a hulking concrete skeleton. The upward structural push continues unabated, but should be capped pretty soon. Keep an eye out for that all-telling American flag.

Once complete, Lord Norman Foster’s gallery will rise nine stories above the Bowery and feature a full-floor elevator exhibition space. It will look something like this…
