No Skateboarding in Petrosino Park
Two squads of enforcement personnel were needed Friday afternoon to apprehend a pair of skaters in the northern section of Petrosino Park. Amidst the hubbub of the evening rush, NYC Park Enforcement officers were issuing tickets to the youths for skating in a no-skate zone.

The group then walked across the street to a parked NYPD officer who recognized one of the boys. A repeat offender. “Tell all your little friends,” he said in a thick New Yawk accent, “there’s no skating in this park.” The threats were apparently some sort of stern final warning. Wild guess, but we imagine the skater and his friends will return to grind up the park.
