Sidewalk Disaster on Delancey, Redux
Three months. For three months, this stretch of sidewalk on Delancey between Forsyth and Chrystie has continued to sink into oblivion. Depth of the depression is roughly a foot. It all started, once upon a time, back in the earliest days of 2010, and was no doubt exacerbated by the media-hyped Snowmageddon.

Since that time, the slab of forgotten concrete became quite hazardous to pedestrians, so out came the cones and metal barricades. But all is not well. Despite these safety measures, the site has essentially been left for dead with no promise of repair in sight. Here’s to another three months…
