Stanton Social Owner Planning New LES Restaurant

Chris Santos, owner of Stanton Social, is planning a new restaurant in the neighborhood for a fall opening. And it will be ginormous.

The Post has some deets:
Today, in addition to running Stanton Social, Santos is a regular judge on the Food Network’s “Chopped.” And he’s planning to open another Lower East Side restaurant this fall.
“It’s going to be more than twice the size of Stanton Social,” he says. “It’s about 10,000 square feet; there’ll be 300 seats for dining, plus we’ll have two bars and a lounge. We don’t have a name yet, but I know it will be the next evolution of Stanton Social; a little more sophisticated, a little more serious.”
Because the LES is in dire need of more “sophistication.” No word yet on exact name or location.
