263 Bowery Storefront is Now for Rent
Karl Fischer’s 263 Bowery revealed itself to the neighborhood in June, and is finally shopping occupants for its street-level storefront. The requisite leasing banner went up late last week, and the space seems ready to go.

The Manhattes Group is taking the lead [PDF] on this particular listing, and has already posted plenty of floorplan porn. Looking at the documents, the space is to include roughly 8,000 square-feet spread across four levels – basement, ground, second, and third floor. And while “all uses are considered,” that’s a sizable chunk of real estate that could cater to a mega-bar or restaurant of some sort. Or another gallery, right in the shadows of Sperone Westwater. Rent is negotiable.
