300 Broome to Receive Three Additional Floors

In short order, the squat two-story building at 300 Broome Street will grow a tumor. Choy Sung Auto, which has sported small “business for sale” signs in the past, is still kicking in the ground level garage. At least for the time being.

We walked past the auto shop yesterday evening and saw a bunch of DOB paperwork taped to the exterior. Sure enough, the permits confirm that the brick box, originally built in 1988, is slated to sprout three additional levels of residential living.

ALTERATION TYPE 1 – CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT – FENCE EXISTING 2 STORY BUILDING TO ADD 3 STORIES WITH TOTAL OF 5 DWELLING UNITS. AMENDED C OF O REQUESTED.
