Coming Soon: JILLANNE at 162 Allen Street
For many years, Rico-Perez Products held down a small storefront outpost at 162 Allen Street, serving natural vitamins and supplements to a primarily Hispanic clientele. But the operation didn’t last into the current decade. Since the closure of this location (there are nine others across the tri-state area), the space has been a void, with the old awning still in place as reminder. Now, a new tenant is poised to open here very soon. JILLANNE.

JILLANNE is an eleven-year-old boutique stationary company specializing in all sorts of artsy greeting cards. Her craft can apparently be found in retail stores across the country, but is most readily available through mail-order and internet. And starting October 1, through the new brick-and-mortar site at 162 Allen. A dozen postcards taped haphazardly to the windows announce the news.
