Scrap Metal Sale on Delancey
Strange occurrences always seem to transpire during the weekend hours outside the seedy OTB on Delancey. A couple weeks ago, it was an older man showing off his Salsa moves; more recently, a sidewalk scrap sale.

Just as the establishment closed for the day, and the gaggle of gambling stragglers began sauntering home, a man with a van parked curbside. He opened the sliding doors and produced an industrial-sized digital scale, on which he piled scraps of assorted metal from some random dude with a shopping cart. The payload was everything from piping to sink. A transaction was conducted, and that was it.
