Coming Soon: Zpizza at 26 First Avenue

The so-called “pure pizza revolution” is riding a wave from Laguna Beach to the Lower East Side. Seven months after opening its first outpost in the West Village, Zpizza is dropping another franchise location at 26 First Avenue.  There hasn’t been much work here of late, but the interior and kitchen equipment look to be in decent shape.  Either way, it might be a little while.  Naturally, the website just says “coming soon.”

This particular space, formerly Cafe Rama, was last in the news when one “Dpizza” appeared on the August Community Board 3/SLA docket for a wine and beer license.

With the new addition, there will soon be three Zpizza parlors around the city.
