DCKT Contemporary Moving from 195 Bowery
DCKT Contemporary, the ground level gallery at 195 Bowery, is on the precipice of changing venues. Not too long ago, a ginormous leasing sign appeared, obstructing the artwork featured in the window display. The current exhibit showcases the work of Sophie Crumb.

A quick trip to DCKT’s official website confirms that the gallery is moving to the south storefront of 237 Eldridge Street in the new year. The inaugural exhibition inside the new digs, Temple of the Bearded Man, will feature the photography, collage, and sculpture work of Irvin Morazan.
If past is prologue, another gallery will likely snatch up the storefront space at this tenement-cum-condo finger building in no time.
