38 Delancey Boasts Badminton Court
Lines are drawn, net installed, and laces double-knotted. For what, you ask? Get ready for some badminton action inside the perpetually vacant retail space at 38 Delancey. The new concrete court mysteriously appeared sometime last week, but we haven’t caught any matches just yet. It does get use, though, as evidenced by the errant birdies on the floor.

Not so fast, ye condo dwellers of 38! It’s not an amenity for residents, but rather for the gang of workers painting and overseeing the big-box space on a daily basis. We were informed yesterday afternoon that the setup was rigged by the “boss” for some mindless fun during break. File this one under WTF.
