Lucky’s Famous Burgers Removes Mario
In the wake of news that Lucky’s Famous Burgers plans to unveil its fourth outpost at 147 East Houston, remnants of the former occupant are gradually vanishing. Much of the red leafing remains on the glass, but that lovable, copyright infringing Mario’s Pizza signage was pried from the marquee and laid to rest. No more Nintendo, time for bed!

Meanwhile, the room itself is being completely remodeled with new kitchen appliances and such. Tentative launch date for the alleged “best burgers on earth” remains set at mid-February.
