New Chinese Bakery Opens at 162 East Broadway
It was a brief fortnight between the death and reincarnation of Golden Carriage Bakery at 162 East Broadway. Now another Chinese bakery is operating at the cornershop property, albeit under new ownership. One commenter informed us that the staff appears to be the same, and that they’re currently offering some sort of grand opening promotion.

The bright yellow canopy with red Chinese lettering arrived early last week, as did the obligatory arrangement of grand opening streamers. If you can read Chinese, please let us know what the sign says!
