AT&T Commercial on the Lower East Side [Video]
You may recall that, back in early November, AT&T hijacked Hell Square to shoot a television commercial. Well, the other day, we saw the fruits of their filming labor. It transpires that this latest advert is part of the “Rethink Possible” campaign, an attempt to sell the worldwide brand, and not necessarily one particular product.

The neighborhood street scenes cut away almost too quickly to notice. But we did, thanks to some DVR play. Lower East Side cameos include handtruck-toting workers outside Economy Candy, and cell phone strolling along upper Ludlow Street. Most notable, however, is that filming crews apparently gained access to the eighteenth floor of the stalled out Hotel Ludlow.
This latest advertising notwithstanding, the street has already cast its vote in the historic Gum Election of February 2011. AT&T is the worst wireless carrier.
