Kate Spade Buys Up Jersey Street
News flash – Kate Spade has just sullied nearly one half of Jersey Street. Once a great haven for graffiti, the narrow two-block alleyway seems to be cleaning up its image of late. A pair of conspicuous ad skins now straddles Jersey on the west side of Lafayette Street, beckoning potential patrons to “Fall head over heels” and “Make an entrance” at the SoHo location.

This advertising play runs alongside a new celebrity campaign – first time in the company’s eighteen-year history – to kick off the spring 2011 line. Ron Howard’s daughter and Twilight star, Bryce Dallas Howard, is the perky Kate Spade girl.
