“Men in Black 3” Shills for Wu’s Diamond Garden Restaurant
On the set of Men in Black 3 the other night, one of the prop cars eventually used in the shot was a delivery truck for a fictional local Chinese eatery called Wu’s Diamond Garden Restaurant. Note the fabricated address printed on the door – 118 Doyers Street – which doesn’t exist in reality. The numbers don’t count that high on Doyers. Either way, fairly detailed for a background vehicle.

But it gets better! Upon closer scrutiny, the menu items offered at Wu’s are decidedly tongue-in-cheek. Faux patrons can choose from a variety of options including Scary Fish Trio, Froggie Friends on Salad, Fish Man & Eyeballs, or Fancy Talking Fish.

Meanwhile, when visiting the url advertised on the truck siding, the user is automagically redirected to the Sony Pictures website. Clever.
