A Day at the Rivington Races
It’s a proverbial day at the races down on Rivington Street, where a new mural was just finalized across from the nascent Shepard Fairey stencil. Indeed, A-Plus Restaurant Equipment at 215 Bowery commissioned the gate project last week, which was painted by artist M. Schorr. This rather expansive race-car themed artwork wraps around the corner, and is strangely reminiscent of boys’ bedroom wallpaper.
