FAB Cafe Featured on ABC News [Video]
FAB Cafe, the replacement java joint for Cuppa Cuppa at 75 East Fourth Street, just gained some major mainstream exposure. Yesterday’s ABC evening news, in fact. Run by the not-for-profit Fourth Arts Block organization, the nascent coffee shop was specifically highlighted for its forward-thinking technological savvy. In short, for using the iPad as its POS system vis-a-vis the Shopkeep app.

The cozy cafe receives plenty of facetime in the segment, as does proprietor Erica Livingston. Toward the tail-end, though, the reporter erroneously refers to FAB as supporting the “Fourth Avenue arts community” in SoHo. Tsk tsk.
