JillAnne Opening New Location at 9 Stanton Street

Time to bust out that wad of singles, as headline-grabbing boutique owner JillAnne is back on the pole. Permanently. This intervening purgatory period of strictly performing random parties seems concluded. Indeed, seven months after vacating her former 162 Allen Street abode, the naughty gift card/calendar purveyor has secured a new space on a relatively quiet block just off the Bowery.

The new JillAnne, playfully referred to as “part deux” in the media materials, is now located at 9 Stanton Street. Press clippings from her brief ascension to the mainstream currently hog much of the window glass, but remain overshadowed by evidence of the most recent retail predecessors. After all, this ground level store formerly boasted both Yellow Fever Clothing and Reamir & Co. barbers.  Oh, and the stripper pole here is much taller than the old standby.

Grand opening at the new 9 Stanton location is set for September 9, accompanied by the obligatory inaugural soiree. Dances are free, so be sure to tip!  Show up at 6 pm.
