Suspicious Suitcase on Delancey [Update]
As we speak, NYPD personnel are evacuating Delancey Street between Allen and Eldridge. A Suspicious suitcase in the westernmost intersection of Allen caused a bomb scare. Cops are taping off the area, and traffic diverted. Within a matter of minutes the area became a ghost town. Dozens of onlookers are gawking as sirens wail and emergency responders arrive.

UPDATE 7:28 pm: The coast is now clear, the suitcase was empty. Everything and everyone is okay. Motor and pedestrian traffic is back to normal.
