Starbucks on Delancey Closes Again Due to “Building Issues”
For the second time in as many weeks, Starbucks at 80 Delancey is again shuttered. Official-looking signs plastered to the shutters reveal that, as before, so-called “building issues” are the primary cause for closure. Exactly what this means is still fodder for conjecture. Our calls to the establishment for more conclusive details have gone unanswered.

The Delancey outpost of Starbucks closed two weeks ago due to the aforementioned structural issues. A day after our initial reports, however, the overpriced beanery reopened for business. Word on the street is that they’ll be back in business within the next few days. Take your time, guys. Support local coffee houses.
