Brown Cafe Becoming Wine Bar Friday Nights
Years-old Brown Cafe at 61 Hester Street is ready to open the flood gates for some holiday cheer. Mostly known for attracting morning crowds for brunch, a Boogie reader now tells us the cramped eatery will transform into a cava/wine bar on Friday nights through the end of December.

We also hear that tapas-style small bites will be available during these weekly wine parties. Eater chimes in with more info, saying that dinner is kaput throughout the rest of the week.
