Artisan Chocolates Opening at 254 Broome Street
254 Broome Street is seemingly through with leasing to trendy boutiques. Save Khaki United closed in early December, and was quickly replaced with a new showroom called Mayson Gallery. But the adjacent storefront sharing the same address pretty much remained dormant ever since the LAEL boutique vacated the premises a couple years ago. Those days are over now. Indeed, the latter space is currently amidst a metamorphosis into a certifiable confectionery counter, so to speak.

Sources tell us that, in due course, a new sweet-spot called Artisan Chocolates will open its doors at 254 Broome. Window papering has been a fixture of the storefront since before the holidays, but we are now hearing that the build-out is nearly complete. Tentative launch date is slated for February 8.
