Haute Hippie Opens Its Doors at 9 Prince
High turnover continues at the nexus of Bowery and Prince. Barely a month after Henry Lehr threw in the shmata, as it were, another like-minded business is already up and running. Guess those juicy rumors of a Jack’s Coffee outpost taking over 9 Prince Street were unfounded.

Three-year-old, Manhattan-based fashion line Haute Hippie, which peddles boho chic, is officially amongst the ranks of the Lower East Side boutique scene. The well-dappered oxymorons opened their city flagship last Friday, easily overtaking the entire retail footprint. 9 Prince Street is actually the fourth brick-and-mortar outpost, joining locations as far afield as Tokyo, Aspen, and Southampton.
