Lower East Side Residential Burglaries
There is reportedly a rash of residential burglaries plaguing the Lower East Side of late. At least that’s the word from a 7th Precinct detective distributing flyers around the neighborhood the last couple days. Apparently thieves are gaining access to tenement buildings via fire escapes and unlocked windows. Same ol’ story.

One Boogie reader living in a targeted building – 43 Clinton Street – sent along a copy the announcement. Our tipster notes that “there have been a few of these [robberies] recently and though they’ve caught a lot of the guys there are clearly one or two still out there.”
