PPF Consignment on Ludlow Closes for Good
All that talk of vacation as explanation behind the closure of PPF Consignment at the end of 2011 seems to have been a ruse. Not surprising.

The trendy retail shop remained shuttered for November and much of December, with little public notice as to why. PPF Consignment, an abbreviation for “Past, Present, and Future,” first opened on the block in the fall of 2009. Like so many other Lower East Side boutiques, the joint had a mere shelf-life of two years before spoiling.
Signs of the demise arrived at 168 Ludlow Street a couple weeks ago (Misrahi poster) while inventory was still inside the store. However, as of yesterday evening, the space is completely cleared and ready for a new tenant.
