The Commercial Observer has it that Innovate Manhattan is relocating to the Lower East Side from 52 Chambers Street, where it temporarily set up shop last year. Kunskapsskolan USA, the corporate entity behind the nascent charter school, recently inked a ten-year lease for 15,000 square-feet on the third floor. Asking rent was reportedly $35 per square-foot. Hot damn!
According to press materials, Kunskapsskolan USA employs a Swedish teaching methodology at its 44 locations in Sweden and the UK. The company has plans to unveil more facilities across America in the coming years.
