Ivanka Trump a Guest at Katz’s Deli Wedding Reception

In a rather short turnaround period, Katz’s Deli seized the vacant Punjabi Food Express next door and transformed it into a well-articulated satellite outpost for one night only. Saturday evening, the iconic Lower East Side eatery was reportedly the site of a black-tie wedding reception for PR executive Steven Rubenstein and playwright Bess Wohl, causing confusion (and envy) amongst hordes of hungry patrons on the sidewalk.

Security guards steered the masses to the pop-up pastrami outpost at 203 East Houston. By yesterday afternoon, everything was back to normal.

Interestingly enough, EV Grieve also reported that Ivanka Trump (and presumably Jared Kushner) attended the festivities, and was live tweeting the madness.
