East West Bank on Bowery Robbed Yesterday
The increased police presence on lower Bowery, near Canal Street, is not without reason. Between jewelry robbers and television hustlers, there’s definitely been a noticeable uptick in crime around these parts. And now there’s another such crime to report.

Yesterday afternoon, the East West Bank branch at 77 Bowery was robbed, with the perp fleeing on foot. No word yet on identity or whether the thief was caught.
