Living in a time where skateboarding is practically more mainstream than ever, it’s always fun to look back at the vintage days. Urban skaters grinding the city streets, without gussied-up playgrounds built by major corporations.

Alex over at Flaming Pablum published this cool footage which teems with punk rock and urban decay.
Some of these jokers seem surprisingly well-dressed to be skateboarding. Note the cameo of the Twin Towers at 2:12. And per the YouTube description:
Along with the Bones Brigade, that’s Christian Hosoi in there with the green hair, along with Dave Hackett (acid-dropping off a semi truck), Ian Frahm (ollieing up onto the wall at the Brooklyn Bridge banks – big trick at the time) and some other NYC locals.
