Sanford’s Saints of the Lower East Side
Only on the Lower East Side can an ugly scaffolding unit gain such popularity among locals. Such is the case with the construction equipment outside 70 East Fourth Street, on which Fourth Arts Block curates a revolving set of artwork. The latest to enter the fray of ArtUp – FAB’s public art program – is a piece by Tom Sanford called “Saints of the Lower East Side.”
