Gilf’s Lady Liberty Drinks the Kool Aid on Bowery

Street artist Gilf! has a new piece on the Bowery, pasted to the plywood of the dormant Paulaner Brauhaus project site. It portrays Lady Liberty chugging the Kool Aid. Even freedom falls in line to conform with the masses…
Gilf! is known in these parts for the “To Tehran with Love” piece, currently residing on the facade of the Little Cupcake Bakeshop.
Meanwhile, in the weeks since the stop work order was levied here at 265-267 Bowery, the plywood has fallen into the hands of graffiti writers and bill pasters.
