Crash Brings Popeye to the Bowery

It took roughly two days to erase and overwrite, and now the Lower East Side has a taste of Popeye. Crash pretty much completed the new mural at the Bowery graffiti wall yesterday afternoon. The mobile boom is still parked onsite for now.
The Sailor Man is seen breaking through the letters of the artist’s name, but with no can of spinach in sight. Meanwhile, Boogie reader Eddie Panta sends along the following image of Crash in action, in which he notes, “Crash puts the POP in Popeye.”
