It was only a matter of time. Beginning March 14, three-month-old Greyhound-Peter Pan venture YO! Bus will include service to Boston. Until now, the corporate Chinatown bus only offered a route to Philadelphia.
According to a recent press release, YO! Bus will offer six round-trips to Beantown every day. That means twelve additional buses in and around Pike Street. Just think if they’d planted themselves in Seward Park as initially intended…
YO! Bus currently operates a curbside stop on the Pike Street median between Division and East Broadway.
Bonus: the name YO! apparently derives from the pronunciation of the Chinese word for “protect,” and is also employed as an enthusiastic greeting.
