Cemusa Drops Another Newsstand on the Bowery

Increased foot traffic on the northern Bowery apparently warranted the placement of a newsstand where before there wasn’t. The antiseptic Cemusa box landed at the corner of East Second Street just a few days ago; right near the Amato Opera building. Out of nowhere it came, and seemingly out of place.
The newsstand itself is still fresh off the assembly line, and not yet stocked with goodies. Post-it notes with contractor scribbles adorn the glass siding.
