With the continual ebb of the Bowery lighting district, nightlife stands to gain the most (Nightlight District?). The corners are falling: Lite Elite in the base of Sohotel is to become an offshoot of Harry’s Steak by Peter Poulakakos, Exclusive Lighting is now the Old Bowery Station event space, and coming soon to the old Lighting Craftsman space, a large-scale seafood spot.

As previously reported, Kristin Vincent from Home Sweet Home is behind this venture at 173 Bowery. The four-month plywood residency came to a close last week. Windows are smoked impeding the visuals … except for the two entry points. There’s sliding doors on Delancey and an entrance on Bowery with a clear view inside.

Community Board 3 signaled full liquor approval last summer conditioned on stipulations of serving food all hours, until 4am, and will “minimize patron noise” outside the establishment. License is still pending with the State Liquor Authority.
