Report: Happiness Deli Opening Second Bodega Around the Corner

Happiness Deli is arguably one of the best bodegas south of Delancey. It’s open 24/7 (even during natural disasters), offers relatively inexpensive food options, and boasts a friendly staff. So we were glad to hear that the owners recently decided to open another satellite outpost within earshot. You heard right.
The new space in question is over the sidewalk and through the parking lot. As it were. With Mendel Goldberg Fabrics having returned to its longtime HQ at 72 Hester earlier this month, the corner of Broome and Ludlow was finally rereleased into the wild. It is here – 243 Broome – that team Happiness decided to open bodega part deux. We are told doors will open sometime within the next couple months.
