5 Unique Views of Taylor Mead [VIDEO]

Yesterday morning, we awoke to the sad news that Taylor Mead died after suffering a stroke. He was 88 years-old and had been living in Denver after decades on the Lower East Side. Landlord Ben Shaoul bought him out and essentially sent him packing on a trip from which he would not return.

We’ve culled together a few eclectic clips of Mead to help celebrate his life. Sadly, there isn’t much of the classic stuff out there on the interwebs. Take note of what he says in his conversation with Allen Ginsberg, in which he mentions how great it is living on Ludlow…
